The more expensive brands do not work as good as this one. The Jet may be relatively heavy, but I like it that way. They feel more solid and do not flop around on the bench.The Besseys are lighter, but more flimsy to me. The Bessey rails are more narrow and distort easier. I use clamps to hold a tight 90 degree angle, not bend where ever.The 60" length of the Jet is just what I have needed for cabinet construction and even from-scratch workbench assembly. My projects tend to be larger than most so these are wonderful. Thankfully, glue removes easily too.

I purchased both the Jet and Bessey bar clamps and have been using both for almost a year. I always grab the Jet first until I run out. They are easier to adjust and seem to be able to apply more force. The sliding stop/rest on the longer clamps is very convenient for repeated glue ups. Also the price is a little better.
