Florsheim Milano Loafer

Florsheim Milano Loafers BLACK 11 M MenHaving owned several pairs of this same shoe I decided to order a pair from Amazon. The order was filled promptly and it was received undamaged. The shoe size, 11 M, was a good fit; however, both shoes had a very annoying squeak when I walked in them. Actually, it was more like a squishing noise than a squeak, but it was very evident to others when I walked past. I wrote and asked for a replacement. The supplier was Peltz Shoes. I requested an exchange and Peltz sent a new pair when I returned the pair I had purchased. So, I have no problem recommending the Peltz Shoes company. Now for the rest of the story -- When I received the exchanged shoes they, too, had the same squishing noise, but since it cost me $7.00 to return the shoes the first time and would cost the same again if I returned these, I've decided not to ask for another exchange. Florsheim apparently has a manufacturing problem with this particular shoe because in addition to the noise problem the size of these shoes are much tighter than the first pair and I will be unable to wear them. I will donate the shoes to charity.

I have 8 of these shoes

I only wear this style of shoes. when I dig around in the dark for shoes, I know they'll match as long as i get a left and a right. I travel a lot, and they slip on and off easily, are light and comfortable. When they blow out on the big toe, which they will, I take them to the garage for yard work. Retail is very expensive, but Amazon's price is usually very good.

Most comfortable shoes EVER, and nice looking too

I have to state upfront that I am very picky about the shoes I wear for work. As a lawyer, I need to wear shoes that are classy-looking, but my own consideration is that I need something that is comfortable and if possible, also a bit durable. Some years ago (I'm talking 10-15 years ago), I fell upon these Florsheim Milano loafers, and was so happy with them, I mmediately bought several extra pairs to keep them "In reserve". Then some weeks ago, my current Milanos gave out after years of service, and I had to break out my last pair of "new" Milanos (bought years ago). My first thought was: I need to immediately look around and "restock" them. After some serious shopping around, I finally was able to find a couple of pairs, and bought them.I buy my "Florsheim Milano" loafers in size 10D (which I understand is the equivalent of a medium), and in black only. When I wear them, they feel snug but without being too tight. Most importantly, they feel LIGHT on my feet, giving me maximum comfort while still providing a classy appearance. I love that the sole is is soft rubber, so that it doendn't make noise when you are walking on hard surfaces. As mentioned already, this is the only shoe I ever wear to work, and so I wear the same pair day in and day out to the office. From my long history with these Milanos, I can tell you they last me generally in the 2 to 3 year range, which I consider very durable.When I was looking around for replacement Mialnos, I noticed a very similar loafer from Florsheim, namely the Riva Slip-On. From the pictures, it looks exactly the same as the Milano, it really is not possible for me to differentiate between the two. Of course I have not tried on a pair of Florsheim Rivas so it might very well be that the Riva feels quite different to the foot than do the Milanos. That aside, the bottom line is that if you are in a work environment that requires a classy-looking shoe but where you equally value the comfort of your feet, the Florsheim Milano has stood the test of time for me, and I look foward to hopefully another 10-15 years in this shoe style. The Florsheim Milano loafer is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Decent Set From Topps

There are some great things about this football set from Topps, but there are a few shortcomings as well. The overall card design is okay, but there is a heavy black border (exactly like the '07 Baseball set) that eats up a lot of space on the card front, and the silver lettering of the player names, teams, and Topps logo had already flaked off a bit on a few cards before I even opened some of the packs. This has been a problem I've found with Topps card sets for the last few years now. Player signatures are also included on the front of the card, which is a nice touch. The back of the cards features a cropped headshot of the player pic on the front of the card and includes a wealth of statistics and biographical information not found on cards from other companies. I've always liked this particular aspect of all Topps sets and it is one of their biggest selling points in my opinion.I can live with most of the miscues on these cards. However, one major flaw that I have never liked is how Topps airbrushes the uniforms of players to match their current team. If a player was traded in the offseason and there's no current photo of that player in his new team's uniform yet, Topps will simply airbrush the player with a new uniform. Just glancing at the card, one may not notice this. However, if you're a stickler for detail like I am, you'll pick up on this instantly. It cheapens the overall look of the cards in my opinion. I'd much rather have the player in his old team's uniform and a small "traded to" line somewhere on the card instead of a cheap airbrush job.Other than that major hang-up of mine, this Topps set is pretty good. I prefer the Upper Deck 2007 Football set, but not so much that I won't buy anymore Topps cards for the '07 season. Topps has plenty of parallel, signature, relic and subset cards to hunt for that make this set worthy of purchase. I do recommend it.

Very Nice!

This machine is so cool, and it makes the best popcorn. I was leery about cleanup, but it's simple and quick. One 8 ounce bag makes plenty of popcorn for a family of four. Very few unpopped kernels . Also, the quality of this machine is outstanding. Very sturdy; near commercial grade. For what we use, I see this machine being used in our home for many years to come.

Throw Your EMG's Away. Now.

These are truely incredible pickups. Think of an EMG 85 in the bridge, but more highs, lows and mids and NO hint of compression or lack of attack. I guess thats what really defines these things. Very organic sounding with about twice the output of EMG's....Buy these now and you will never go back.

These pups rock.

I replaced the stock ESP LTD pickups in my LTD 251HM with Blackouts and they have turned a practice guitar into a scream machine. They have great dynamics and good balance with added lower mids which make my 5150 seem a great deal thicker. I would give them 5 stars but the electronics are completely disassembled. EMGs have some of the wiring done when you get them so they will take longer to install. The posts on the pots were wider than stock so I had to drill out the holes to make them fit. These can supposedly be swapped out with EMGs which I'm considering because they are superior to your standard EMG 81 85 set in tone. We'll see how the newer SD metal and EMG X series pups compare. It looks like there are a ton of new choices for actives and the quality of these pups I think re-energized the industry.

Beautiful

This stand is sturdy and perfect. We have the 6oz popcorn machine that matches this and it is awesome. I have two very active young children that love to watch the popcorn pop and this stand is just low enough for them to enjoy the show but just tall enough to keep them away from the hot parts of the popcorn machine. I was worried about it being too low for me (I'm 6'), but the machine stands high enough for comfort. Assembly was fairly easy, but took me about 20-30 minutes to complete. I know the stand isn't necessary for the popper to work, but the mobility and nastalgic beauty that this cart provides is well worth the expense.

Accept No Imitation

In my opinion, the best sounding wah on the market. It has a wide, full range of tones so you can get your funk and Jimi Hendrix on. Works well for a Temptations, "Papa Was a Rolling Stone" vibe. I run it through my Mesa-Boogie Subway Blues and get a pretty decent vintage tone with it. Since I don't play metal music, I'm not sure how Kurt Hammet-esque it would sound. I sold guitars for a while and have tried wahs from Dunlop and Morley. I think the Vox beats them both hands down, but it all depends on your musical tastes.

The Wah-Wah Pedal You Want

I wanted a wah-wah pedal that had a mellow snarl to it but also a growl, and this is it. For funk it works great. I was supprised how professional it sounded. It also souned great for playing those phycedellic sounding chord progressions. I love this thing. If your just starting to get effects pedals (like I am) than you gotta have a wah-wah, and this one gave me the exact sound I wanted. the only problem I had with it is that the on/off foot button broke, so it could still wah, but I just couldn't turn it off. I took it into the store and they fixed it no charge and now it works great again. So if you need a good wah-wah pedal that has the exact sound we all want, then you have no other choice but to get this.

Look no further

I've had mine for well over 10 years now, and having playing *many* other wahs, this is the one that stays on stage with me. It's got the best sweep, the wah bubble sounds great and is easy to control (ever notice on other wahs how uneven the sweep is, like you're dropping off a cliff all of the sudden?). And if for any reason you want to take it to the next level, you can get a fasel inductor and/or true bypass (parts'll cost you $20, most guitar techs will put 'em in for another 10-20) and really be screaming. (I recommend the true bypass in any case)This wah lets you do the funky bow-chika-bow-wow, talk ala "Voodoo Child" and everything in between. I've used it with strats, jazzmasters, 335s and the G&L teles. Never anything less than smoking.And as you might guess, in the 10+ years I've had it, it has taken a royal beating. I've gone through 3 volume pedals, but my VOX has always stayed tough.

Love it!!!

I bought this to use to travel back to the US from Afghanistan. It is just the right size. I am completely in love with this bag. I can comfortably fit some clothes, my archos and everything I need to get back to the US on my multiple trips. I am now using it daily to go back and forth from work. I also like the extra compartments inside. Extremely useful backpack and I am very glad I bought it.

good quality bur quite small

I used it last semester when I was living on campus, which means I didn't have to take a bounch of textbooks with me because i could return between classes. This onre is light but dural. I bought it from Amazon because it's much cheaper than that from Macy's.HOWEVER, DON'T PICK THIS ONE IF YOU NEED A SCHOOL BACKPACK! IT CAN'T HOLD A LOT.

Good for couple play - not so much by yourself

I spent a lot of money on this product at an adult bookstore (over $100) and was disappointed in terms of value. I have vibrators that cost a fourth of what the Lelo Liv cost me and I prefer them when it comes to self-fulfillment. When I'm with my guy it works very well, because the design fits perfectly between us and the vibrations are gentle enough to compliment his motion. But overall, I'd say save yourself some money. There are plenty of vibrators out there (under $50) that will do the trick AND MORE.

Paragon Popper has Performed

As the principal of an elementary school, I was looking for a popcorn machine that could handle multiple batches without smoking and setting of alarms. Another school in my district had purchased this machine with success. We had a "Pennies for Popcorn" fundraiser and was able to purchase the machine this spring. Since everyone in the school had contributed, we decided to make popcorn for the entire student body! The Paragon TP-8 Theater Popper performed very well, continuously making popcorn for over 250 people - no smoke, no spills, and great popcorn! I would recommend it.

Great Commercial Popper

Operate a concession stand so we make popcorn usually 5/6 days a week. No issue and everything looked and acted as advertised. If we need another unit I would not hesitate to reorder.
