Galco combined features from our Miami Classic with a traditional vertical shoulder holster to create a system that’s perfect for the 21st century’s first responders and military personnel. Combat-proven in Iraq and Afghanistan, the VHS has been field tested over military uniforms and general hunting clothing with great success, and thousands are currently in use by American armed services personnel fighting the Global War on Terrorism. Although we did not set out to create another concealment rig, we discovered that it’s hard to break away from our roots. A key component of this patented shoulder system is its spider harness. All four points of the spider harness can pivot independently and are connected by our clover shape, trademarked Flexalon swivel back plate. The best holster

This is quality. I have had nylon holsters. They are ok, but they don't compare to this one. Takes a little bit of work to break in the leather for smooth, quick draw. Very comfortable and great for conceal carry of larger frame autos. The vertical position means nothing sticks out. Getting the straps to fit you the way you want them to also took some work. I love this holster. I looked at a lot of them before I decided to go with this one. It is expensive, but you won't be disappointed.

Galco Shoulder Holster

Another fine product from Galco and excellent service from Amazon. My first leather holster from Galco was a shoulder rig know as the "Jack Ass" that I used for off duty concealment back in the eighties. Galco's name back then was the Jack Ass Leather Company who made Don Johnson's shoulder holster for the Miami Vice series. I am just as impressed with their product now as then. The leather is of the finest quality and workmanship is second to none. This is my fourth Galco holster and all were highly crafted. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a leather holster.

Takes some work but great product

the leather is initially very stiff, but it loosens up with a break in period. Galco wants to help with this by selling a softener but I don't feel its necessary as just using the holster works very well. This is a great holster, I highly recommend
