Looks cool and seems brighter than OEM. Issue is that the light pattern is just ok and adjusting so it's correct makes the lens look crooked (had to adjust it to max right.) Another issue is that the mounting braket is not exact fit. Had to grind out the bolt holes so they would line up. And after a car wash, one of the lenses got moisture in it so you may want to run a bead of clear silicone around the outside edge of the lense. All in all, makes the vehicle look better but, for the price, I would've expected a little more attention to detail on the mounting brackets and lense seal.

Don't let the idea scare you. The biggest obstacle is deciding to do it. The result will be realized when you are driving in the dark and you realize how much better you can see. No bright-lighting from the on-coming traffic is nice. They don't shine into the back window of the vehicles you may be behind, so that's another plus.

I have these installed on my '98 Suburban. Over the years I have tried many different styles and brands of headlights for these trucks. These TYC Elegante lights are hands-down the best set of lights I have had and the ONLY set of headlights that I was actually happy with. Are these lights absolutely 100% perfect? No. But if you want a quality set of clear headlights for these trucks, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything better since there are no OEM clears out there.These lights fit flush with the grille and don't stick out making your truck bug-eyed like a lot of the cheap eBay lights out there. They have glare shields over the lowbeam side like they should. Most cheap lights don't have these.I have heard of a few people having broken adjustment screws with the Elegante lights, but they were typically able to get a good replacement set without any issues.It does take some attention and care to get the lights to mount nice and straight. There is a small amount of wiggle room in the mounting holes. When I combined working with that wiggle room and a slight adjusting of the aiming of the lights, mine are now perfectly straight.When you compare the beam of these lights to stock lights, you will notice a difference. The stock headlights have a refractor lens to aim the beam. These lights use the reflectors on the back of the lights to aim. The stock pattern is smoother than with the Elegante lights, but I can guarantee that you are not causing dangerous glare with the Elegante lights. I have HIDs in my Elegante lights and if they're not blinding me with my very light-sensitive eyes, then they're not bothering most other drivers out there. If you're not using HIDs and are sticking with halogen bulbs, then glare is a definite non-issue.Like I say, these lights are absolutely perfect, but if you want some nice diamond clear lights for your GMT-400 truck, then you can't go wrong with these.
