Product Description
The ODL RTMTB01 tall bronzee retractable screen is 96" from top of unit housing to bottom of housing and is designed to fit in swing 8'0" entry doors. The screen covers doors up to 36"W or double doors up to 72"W although two screens are needed for this type of installation. Replacement screen cartridges are available should screen ever become damaged.

Looked good but wouldn't work on my door!

Screen door arrived quickley but once I read the instructions and looked at my door, I realized it would not work. I have a small cement step under my door that is recessed from the wood encasement so the bottom track for the door could not be attached correctly. This looked like a nice door at a reasonable price and so I was disappointed to have to send it back. It was a bit of a hassle and a few dollars to return it but the company was quick to return my purchase price. Next time I will read the installation instructions on line before ordering.

Great retractable screen door!

This is a great retractable screen door, it does take a bit of time to install. It is worth the money compared to other brands out there. Bought it directly from ODL, Inc., and had a few issues when the product arrived, but after sending off a message to ODL, they immediately took care it. I received outstanding customer service, beyond what I had expected, which is not common these days. Installed it two months ago, did not have a chance to put it to good use, until now, and it is definitely a great purchase.

Great Screen door

This screen door is exactly what I was looking for...my back door has a full glass window from 1' from the floor to 7' high. i did not want a door that had a bar across the middle. This door does not have an unsightly bar across it and stays retracted when not in use. Without the bar it does make it easy to walk into. Two weeks after installing the door we had a party and a friend walked right into it with a plate of food. The food hit the floor and got all over him but the Door did not suffer any damage. This can be rectified by placing a reflective piece of tape across it, giving it a "bar" but when not in use it is retracted and not visible.Customer Service: The first door I recieved was damaged by the shipper. When I processed the return Fed Ex reported it would take a week to return it then another week to process the new order...I called the manufacturer and they shipped a new door immediatly without waiting.Install: install is not difficult. The main concern with installing is to make sure it is flush with the door frame and that it works with your door.Pros: Nice door, completely hidden when not closed, Customer service, easy installcons: not easy to see when closed in low lighting (but fixable), The threshold that came with it was too short and did not extend from the frame of the screen to my doors threshold.
