We recently purchased a small version of this particular light and had it installed on our lanai. It arrived very well packaged. The workmanship and quality of this light are very high! Beware of the weight! The smaller version is about 10 lbs. and the larger version is about 16 lbs (I think). This means they may require additional support in some installations. We had ours installed on a stucco wall to replace an existing carriage light. We really like the modern design and the lighting effects. One thing that wasn't clear in the product description is that there is an opaque class panel (semi-circle) at the top of the light that diffuses the light. There is an optional glass panel that can be fitted onto the bottom of the light but this piece was not included. After trying the light out for a couple of nights, we decided we didn't need the additional glass panel. This light is pricier than many others but it is high quality and the design is simple but tasteful. We are very pleased with it.
