Product Description
Red Line's 10W30 Synthetic Oil is the best all-weather viscosity grade for gasoline engines in cars and light trucks that are driven on the street on a daily basis. It reduces turbo lag and provides more power and economy while providing thicker bearing oil films at operating temperature than a petroleum 10W-40. It is also the best choice in replacing a 5W-30 or 10W-30, petroleum-based or other-brand synthetic oil if maximum durability is preferred. This oil is acceptable for engines that are occasionally operated in extreme cold weather. Red Line's synthetic motor oils are designed to provide the highest protection, cleanliness and superior drain intervals with the lowest friction for your gasoline, diesel, motorcycle or marine engine. Red Line uses the most stable components available and formulates products for wear protection and friction reduction across a wide range of engine operating conditions. Red Line's products are unique because they contain polyol ester base stocks, the only lubricants which can withstand the tremendous heat of modern jet engines. Red Line Synthetic Motor Oils are designed to provide the highest degree of protection and cleanliness for your engine. Red Line uses the most stable synthetic components available and formulates their products for wear protection across a wide range of operating conditions. Red Line lubricants contain polyol ester basestocks, the only lubricants which can withstand the tremendous heat of modern jet engines, which makes our motor oil a necessity to properly lubricate a turbocharger or hot-running engine. The synthetic basestocks have a natural multigrade property, which means that large amounts of unstable polymeric thickeners are not required to manufacture our multigrades. Red Line Synthetic Motor Oils will provide better protection than a petroleum oil of the next higher viscosity grade under high shear conditions.

This oil is the best of the best. I am a retired mechanic of 34 years and I just about have tried them all. This oil has to be one of the best I have ever used. I still change my own oil and filters and I still use this oil. I have used it for more then 20 plus years and I have always had the same good results. It runs longer between oil changes ,up to 12,000 miles or more, with just a oil filter change in between.I have broken down motors and found very minimal wear even after 150,000 miles. Rings and bearing with little wear and cylinder walls with little or no tapper, camshafts and lifters also with very little wear for that kind of milage. The price may scare you a little, but you get to go longer between oil changes. I drive very little now days only about 2,500 miles a year if I am lucky. I still only change my oil once a year with an oil filter change every 6 months. I use this oil in a 1997 Toyota T100 4X4 SR5 and a 1998 Honda civic. I bought both vehicles new, and they both have over 85,000 miles on them and are doing great. I also use the redline transmission oil for both vehicles along with the transfer case and rear end oils for the 4x4. You just can not beat this product at any price..

What else can I say. This oil works well and does not break down even after 7500 miles of use. Highly recommended and I use red Line in all three of my vehicles.

What can I say? I started using Red Line products (oil, rear differential fluid and transmission fluid) in my 1998 Corvette several years ago and have no complaints. I get 31 mpg or so at 65 mph with an automatic transmission. Are better lubricants a factor in that? I don't know, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Good stuff and this was the best price I found.
