This lamp is fantastic! I LOVE it! It has several gradients of light options and is plenty bright for any task in the dark. It's well made and very adjustable. I'm currently using it next to my grand piano, to read music. I can't say enough good things about it. It's easy to assemble. It doesn't get warm, of course. Buy it!

i like this lamp. it won't light up a room, but it'll for sure give you focused light, that's easy on the eyes. and the light is concentrated enough to allow a tired spouse a chance to get to sleep.i'm very careful about what i spend my money on, and after seeing it in action, i have no problem with paying the $200+ for this. it's a quality item.3/13/11 - just got another one for other side of bed. the amount of use totally justifies the cost.

This lamp has a unique minimalist design which is very appealing. It takes up little space and it's easy to adjust the lighting direction. It is plenty bright and works well for my reading and my wife loves it for knitting. A significant drawback is that it really is not a serviceable product. The LED's are soldered into place. If an LED fails the entire light bar will need to be replaced. There is a one year warranty. It seems highly unlikely to have problems within that time period. Beyond that, I expect repairs to be an expensive proposition. There is nothing on the company's website about replacement parts. In short I would say this product rates high on simplicity and elegance and low on practicality.
