This is what I've been waiting years for. Why these thing usually come with an open end I have no idea.When using a spanner, you need a ring to crack it, then a rachet to spin it off/on, and then a ring to snug it up again. finally someone was smart enough to put both on the same tool.They are considerably longer than usual Gearwrenches, however with the double ring design, hopefully people will be smart enough not to use the ratcheting end to put large amounts of force on - thus avoiding the usual "I'm too stupid to be on this planet" court case that'll see them removed from the market.The non-ratcheting end has a very thin wall, which is great for tight spots. they're also slightly off set on one side - good for recessed fasteners.I wish I could send all my open ended Gearwrenches back. I'll never use them again.

If u don't want to spend $350 on the tool truck, this is a must have,I use this set every day in the shop! Have to lock it up when not around,I have the only set and these tools tend to find new owners if you know what I mean.

I am a mechanic I love these wrenches they are the exact same ones that Matco sells for 3-4 hundred dollars my buddy got this same set and the 8mmwench actually was a Matco wrench mine all are marked gear wrench but we both like the wrenches and you can't beat the price
