This looks great, and has a very heavy-duty feel to it.Each outlet bank can be set to switch on and off (or not) based on the front switch or a remote 12 volt trigger. It comes with a power cable which, when plugged into a switched outlet, will switch the other outlets on and off. So, if you plug this into the switched outlet on your receiver, for example, you can make the outlets of your choice turn off and on with the receiver. They can also be set to turn on after a delay, to allow the amp (for example) to power up before turning on the source device. This is a pretty powerful capability. It has a couple of outlets that are for high current devices, like power amps, which is nice to see. I have a high-end receiver plugged into one of them (160 Watts x 7 channels) with no issues. It isn't perfect, however. The front panel looks like brushed aluminum, but is really just painted plastic, so know that going in. Also, after about a year some of the LCD segments on mine no longer light, probably due to a bad solder joint on the display. This could just be a problem with my unit, but it does make me a bit concerned about their quality control and makes me a bit hesitant to buy a second one.The display is hard to read from below, too, so you'll want to put this on a lower shelf.Overall, a good unit for the price, and looks great too.

By pelagikos
Purchased AP41300FC12-BLK a few weeks ago. Right out of the sealed factory box, the front LCD was defective - some segments were faint, some barely visible.Belkin support website has a function where one can request a replacement under their lifetime warranty, but it would not accept this unit's model number... it would only take AP41300FC10-BLK which is Belkin current model for PF60. So I had to resort to calling them. But phone menus instruct caller to go to the web site!Anyhow, after punching zeroes at random at all menu levels and being on hold for 20 mins, finally got a hold of a customer service representative. We did a cross-shipment replacement. It cost me $22 to ship the defective unit back to Belkin (24lbs. UPS ground insured), and they sent me a replacement for free. Not a bad deal, one would think.Guess what? The replacement was the current AP41300FC10-BLK, which has fewer (3 instead of 4) cable outlets, no phone line protection, no network protection and a shorter power cable. In my setup, I could live with the above, but FC10 also has a cheap plastic front panel, and not the nice brushed aluminum like FC12 had. So the replacement unit no longer matches my other components... And on top of that the voltage meter on the new unit is way off.I probably could call Belkin again, and insist they get me FC12, or refund my money, or something... But I do not feel it's worth the effort. Getting ahold of them is a feat in itself...So, no more Belkin for me. I wish I spent a bit more and went with another brand...

By Marek Materka
This was the best upgrade to my stereo equipment run for years on cheap surge protectors. I could immediately hear the difference: more bass, better definition and clarity, less noise. A real must for everyone with a decent A/V system.
