I purchased this item due to some physical ailments that do not allow me to walk and stand for longer than 15 minutes. I purchased this item as I am a larger lady so I could improve my mobility and be able to shop in stores that do not offer riding carts. I also use it to go to places that will not offer riding carts such as a craft show, outdoor park settings, etc... I will say the seat is plenty roomy for my large bottom and like other reviews, it is quite taller as my feet do not touch the ground. I am 5'2" but I put my feel on the wheels and I'm just fine. I would still highly recommend to other large people that need assistance walking.
