Virgin Island Water smells just like being on the beach in Cancun - complete with the feel of the ocean, the coconut and lime of tropical drinks, and the vague reminder of smokiness far away. I LOVE this fragrance and can't get enough of it. I wear it most of the year except for the dead of winter when it is too light. When I can't get away, this is the next best thing. Makes me feel like I'm on vacation when I'm just sitting at my desk. BTW, I'm a woman and it smells great on me.

Like most expensive scents this one is subtle and expressive at the same time. You get a sophisticated bergamot at first with just a hint of citrus followed by a subtle coconut. That last one is a complete surprise! I'm not a fan of coconut in any way and definitely do not welcome it in my perfume, but this scent works.Pros: light, unusual, sophisticatedCons: expensive, so look for a better deal

I purchased this for my husband as replenishment for the bottle we originally purchased at Saks. Trying to save some money didn't work out. Though the fragrance is lovely, it is not quite the same as the one we purchased from a Creed retailer.
