Stock is heavy but works as intended, built very solid and serves its purpose. My varminter is a bit front heavy due to the bull barrel so the added weight in the stock helped to balance the rifle. Adjustments are smooth and robust. I don't think you will dissapointed with this buy.

I bought this stock to put on a new Bushmaster I picked up a few weeks ago. I was looking for a setup to augment my collection of .308 and .50BMG rifles with something smaller range, less recoil, and semi-automatic. THe second I took delivery of the new rifle I started researching stocks and came across this Magpul PRS. I found out that it is nearly identical to the PRS2 that Magpul makes for one of my Savage tactical rifles so I ordered it in a heartbeat. Installation was crazy-easy. Remove the old stock, which in my case was a standard A2, loosing 2 screws on the Magpul and slide it over the existing buffer housing. Pop off the rubber recoil pad to put the screw back into the end of the buffer housing and have at it. Those of you looking for the right sight picture on your AR style guns with optics you'll find this picks up up to the high sight-line that the AR requires... especially in .223

This is a great accessory. It allows adjustment of length of stock pull as well as comb height for the perfect alignment of the chosen type of sights. Installation is straight forward and quite simple. Actually, the hardest part of the installation was removal of the original stock. Adjustments are positive and stay in place once set but are easy to reset for another shooter. Would recommend to a friend. The only detraction of this item is the somewhat pricey cost but well worth it if you have other than normal length arms, neck or sighting requirements.
