Supplied with Audio-Technica's versatile UniMount clip and new violin mount, the low-profile ATM350 is an exceptional cardioid condenser microphone designed to clip to brass, upright bass, reeds, piano, snare, toms, and violin. The microphone offers a crisp, clear, well-balanced response, even at high SPLs. It features an integral 80 Hz hi-pass filter on the in-line power module. Its cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the side and rear for effective protection against feedback.

Ive had two of these mikes for several years and they sound excellent for miking up my Cajun accordions, however the spiral gooseneck is not stable and the mike droops, has to be held up by looping the lead over the top of the accordion. Not good for an expensive mike like this.

Just about every "harmonica mic" in existence is designed for a "Blues" type of sound (distorted). Get this mic if you want a really "clean" tone. Use it with a P.A. system or Active-type speaker(s). You'll need Phantom Power, but that can be found on Amazon for as little as $20.
