SuperGlide short bed truck 5th wheel hitches are 18K SuperGlide. SuperGlide is the only true solution to safe 5th wheel towing with short bed trucks protecting passengers, trucks and trailers. SuperGlide automatically moves the trailer away from the cab while making turns and allowing up to 90 degrees; turning without stopping, slowing down or even thinking about the space between the truck and trailer. This automatically returns the hitches and trailers to the safe towing position over the truck axle when the turn is completed, also going forward or backing up. All SuperGlide hitches feature fully articulating dual pivot head, and Super 5th unique rotary latch that locks automatically when hooking up to the trailer. The gear driven latch design minimizes bump while towing by allowing only .030 inch clearance between king pin and latch. The 18K and 14K SuperGlide moves up to 14 inch while making a turn - 50 per cent farther than manually adjusted slider designs and works automatically, while you drive and make short turns. Available with a choice of mounting styles that are fixed base rails with universal mounting brackets for lower cost or totally removable SuperRails with stronger, more stable custom designed mounting brackets for specific vehicles.

This is absolutely the best hitch for my 2012 Ford 250 6.7 Super Duty Crew Cab. It pulls my 38' 5th wheel just as smooth as butter. I just can't say enough good things about this unit. Sharp turns --- no worries it slides automatically, it's strong and secure. They cost more but worth every penny spent. Camping World installed mine and did a fine job. I'm very happy with this Hitch, It offers security and peace of mind in having a quality product when so much is on the line. I highly recommend this Hitch to all.

I purchase this hitch three months ago. I have a 07 chevy 3/4 ton short bed. I was told that because of the short bed I shouldn't buy a fifth wheel trailer. This hitch made it possible! I have pulled my 32 foot 5th wheel on a couple of local trips and I have to say that the hitch is worth every penny. Making sharp turns and backing into tight spots are NO PROBLEM! The price of the hitch and installation is pricey but would do it again.
