The Dayton 2M139 1/5 hp AC DC electric motor works just fine in my application. I was not expecting much from this motor due to a out of the box bent shaft on a 1/15 Hp Dayton motor that I bought on Amazon. But this one works just fine. Also you can reverse the rotation CCW to CW if you reverse the wiring on the brushes, which I did. At lower speeds under load you will have to supply external air flow to keep it cooled down. Which I did. It has worked just fine in the 300 to 5000 RPM range using a speed control. There is just one mounting option, but two hose clamps around the motor to hold it in place worked very well.Great little motor. I would buy another one.
