This is my second Hyperflex suit. I bought the first one cos it was cheap... this one is too, and yet they're both good quality products--excellent value for money!I'm 6'1" and rather over-weight (275lbs) so I went for the 3XL.My only complaint is the 3XL Short John is probably too 'tall' for me, as there is some slack around the top of the chest/arm holes when it's snugged up into the crotch, but otherwise fits snugly without being uncomfortable or constricting--thank god for stretchy material! I make sure to wear t-shirt and shorts to hide the unsightly bulges... *brr*.I mainly got this suit for summer kiteboarding, to keep the seat harness from digging up into my... crevasse. However, even though it's 1.5mm, I think it'll be warm enough for a spring/fall suit too--I'm used to colder weather and am better insulated than your average skinny guy.

I use the wetsuit to teach swim lessons because it keeps me warm while observing my swimmers and keeps the occasional little kid from pulling my chest hair out. For lap or open swimming in cold environments I would not choose this wetsuit. When swimming the suit opens on the sides and back of the neck and lets a stream of water run through the suit and down the body.
