I bought this pump with an AF Condor. It was my first PCP rifle and I liked the idea of being "self powered." The pump seems well made, and robust. It does heat up during use, but not unreasonably so. Pumping effort at higher pressures is high, requiring most of my 200 lb body weight to be brought to bear upon the down-stroke of the pump. Expect to do a lot of pumping to fill an empty tank the first time, then about three pumps per shot taken during successive fill-ups.(AF Talon HPA tank)I've had this pump for about a year now and am not pleased with how it's help up. It's gotten pretty rough on the down stroke, and I expect to have to rebuild it soon. If I were going to buy a pump for long term use, I would recommend the Hill brand one over this. You get what you pay for.

I have been using my Airforce pump for over a decade with no rebuild and no problems. I bought it in 2001 along with my Talon SS. Pump is still going strong after 11 years.
