I bought this ball since I was looking for a ball that has other pattern than regular (small) hexagonal pattern. What I really wanted was a world cup Jabulani ball, but the only version that does not have hexagons is the official one and that was too pricey.It was a bit of a risk taking but I am glad i did as I love this ball. Given that the surface has fewer pieces (than a regular one made of small hexagons), the ball feels soft in a great way and has a better feel to it. Like the jabulani, as a keeper it does feel like it shifts slightly and occasionally unpredictably when a shot is taken. But I consider that a plus as it can result in higher scoring.

My 17 year old is a soccer fanatic, with 10+ balls around the house and yard this one never touches the street or driveway; and is usually bouncing from foot to knee to head. Certainly his favorite.
