I received my order from a 3rd party reseller, though it was processed through Amazon and qualified for Amazon Prime.Upon receiving the product (it took 10 days to arrive), I noticed that it had pretty low light output even in the dark. On the bottom of the back of the product packaging, it had a date of 5/04 printed. I called Kumber customer support, and after giving them the production # (printed in gold ink on the underside of the rear sight), they confirmed that it was made in 2004. They informed me that the product is only warrantied for 12 years (the general concensus is that the real-world shelf life is closer to 8-10 years). So I was sold a "new" product that was nearly at the end of its useful life. Not happy! I'm working on returning the product to the reseller. If you do buy this product, make sure to verify how old it is before installing it.

Good Tritium sights. Brightness, white outline, brighter front dot, all good. Some tool marks visible. Note the packaging design is from and bears the date 2004. There is a date code under rear sight such as "U" as on my set. U means 2012. Packaging date is irrelevant.

I was shopping around for some night sights for my kimber and figured i would look on amazon just to see if they even carried them and was i happy i did check because they actually listed this wrong because if you look on the kimber site the tactical wedge sights are a lot more expensive then the regular meprolights but amazon mixed up the two so you can get the wedge sights for way cheaper here then anywhere else. on the kimber site they are $142.00 and less then 100 here. wow thats all i have to say. I dont expect many people to buy this because amazon isnt really known as a gun store but if you happen to find this then buy these. they are the real deal and very very bright. As soon as i had these installed, which is highly recommended to have a gunsmith do it unless you really know what your doing, i went to the range with a friend and they just bought some new sights also and he was bragging that he just put some $300 sights on his gun and i just laughed that he was proud to spend way too much money. This is one of the best investments i have made into my handgun and i would recommend these sights to anyone.
