This home networking panel has an attractive slender design and can handle up to six 4-line telephone connections and routes video to 6 locations. You can fit this into any Leviton structured media enclosure or use it alone. The panel basically combines a telephone patching expansion board, a category 5e voice and data board and a 6-way 2 GHz splitter into 1 unit. This is great for basic home networking or as a great starter but you may need more pending your needs. Its fairly easy to install and comes with instructions to help guide you if needed. This has worked great for us and I'd definitely recommend it, no issues here.

I purchased this basic panel for my home, which was being expanded. Shortly after my purchase, I realized that I needed more modules to run all of the jacks that I was looking to install. I used this and added more phone and networking modules to create the layout I was looking for. This is a great starting off point if you are only putting a few jacks throughout your home. It is relatively easy to install, with a modest amount of networking and or phone knowledge. If you have never "hard wired" network or phone jacks using a pushdown tool, than you may look to get some instruction before purchasing this item, however.

For basic home networking (video, telephone, fax, even modem), this works fine. It provides connections for up to six remote locations, if you need it, and organizes everything neatly.The instructions manual and the punch down tool included were especially handy, but you got to know what you're doing--and if you're not a technical person like me, don't hesitate to ask for help from someone in hooking everything up since it could get a little confusing.Visually, the panel is compact enough and has an attractive design. I thought the price could have been a little cheaper, but I suppose it's still better than paying the price for more advanced panels.
