Viking Ring Booster to 10 RenRG-10A is a ring booster designed to increase ringing power of an existing telephone line PABX extension ISDN Terminal Adapter or any other telecom device which provides ringing. It duplicates the incoming ring frequency and cadence allowing it to be compatiblewith custom ringing features. The RG-10A is capable of ringing 15 - std (1REN) phones.

I had two phone lines in my house from my cable carrier and recently I got rid of one as it was costing me $19/month and was not used much. The second phone ran my fax and my kids knew enough to call it if the main line was busy. To replace it I got a Magicjack Plus(VOIP), and I moved my old phone number to it. The MagicJack didn't work that well as it would only work when one phone was plugged into it and the fax wouldn't work correctly at all. The MagicJack Plus unit is nice but t doesn't have the umpf to ring all the phone in my house and I wanted to make it work the same way my previous phone worked. I looked at different boosters and after trying two I settled on this unit, the Viking RG-10A.All I did was plug the phone line into the unit and then into the Magicjack Plus (which also plugs into a router via an ethernet cord) (both sit on a shelf in the basement) and it rang all 8 phones around the house. This also easily allows you to reverse polarity as some of the Magicjack appear to have reversed polarity (mine did). It also allows you to boost the voltage in the line increasing the call volume which you need with a Magic Jack trying to run across all the telephone wires in your home.I know they say faxes and other things won't work on a Magicjack Plus but guess what, with the Viking RG-10A in the middle faxes works fine, in and out, multiple pages, maybe it was the polarity, not sure. it didn't when I tried the MagicJack Plus by itself.It will take me 15 months to start saving money compared to my $19/month phone bill that I was paying but I should have done this 5 years ago. I am already 6 months into this and it works perfectly.Whomever designed this, great job.
