This toilet seat cost a bit more than I am used to paying but frankly I got tired of the cheaper pressed wood-type seats that just kind of disintigrated after a while around the hinge area. We only have 1 bathroom so whatever toilet seat we have gets plenty of use.I liked the tea green color of this seat as it matched my bathroom but honestly I was most surprised by how this feels to sit down on. You don't so much sit "on" it as you do other seats, you kind of sit "in" it because it is contoured. It is extremely comfortable. I have never sat on any toilet seat that feels like this one.Another plus is that, because of the design of the underside of the seat, there is a lot less area for "bad things" to splash on. The seat is extremely easy to keep clean and, also because of the underside design, the actual rim of the toilet bowl stays much cleaner.So, I'm 100% happy with this purchase. Hopefully I will have this seat longer than the 10 months or so other cheaper seats have lasted.

I have an American Standard toilet and have been using the cheap seat that came with that purchase. I have never had an ergonomic seat....I LOVE this. The contour is incredibly comfortable. Very easy installation/compatible with my other brand toilet.

Kohler brand ... expected better. Fits fine, looks good but it's cheap plastic and will not take much weight. I'd recommend buying a better seat .
