This is my first pair of cycling tights, and I'm pleased with them. They fit well and are comfortable. The Large size runs true for waist and legs, yet at 5'-8" they're a bit long for me. Granted, as a typical inseam-challenged male, I just bunch up some of that length at my knees. The zippers at the ankles make getting in/out of them a breeze.They also have plenty of length in the seat, meaning that the tight will come up nearly to your navel, as they should. This is unlike some other tights that wind up far lower, and just don't feel comfortable. So, always try tights on before removing the tags.They block the wind pretty well, and temperature wise, are comfortable down to to 40-45 degrees F. That is, the arthritis in my knees doesn't start to bother me, and cycling at a heart rate of 165 or so, for 1-2 hours, I don't overheat in them. The higher temperature limit for longer rides may be in the 55F range. I think the temperature range could go a little higher (maybe 60F), for a shorter or less vigorous ride where you don't have as much heat/perspiration buildup.I've had one issue, but owe this more to my inexperience than to the quality of the Garneau product, and that is the pilling of the fabric in a few places above the knees. Since these were brand-new, I'm sure they came this way and I just didn't notice it before I cut off the tags. I'd imagine that over time, these minor defects would grow more and make the tights look well worn, far before they really were. Therefore, be sure to carefully check over any set of tights, in a well-lit area and with your glasses on (if applicable) to locate any issues.Overall, the Oslo tights are a high quality product, in line with other Garneau offerings.
