The new piece from KVH adds a lot to the already solid A5 system. The new motors are almost silent, the new receiver adds a lot of new features, and the finish on the antenna is beautiful. I bought the silver finish antenna and painted it to match my blue Silverado. The dish blends with the roofline of the truck and looks tough. I get positive comments from strangers all the time and they totally freak out when they find out that the antenna receives satellite TV signals. I love to tailgate at Seahawks games and watch the rest of the action around the NFL while I wait for the game to start. My truck is the focus for tons of fans who want to do the same thing. The system is the coolest gadget I have ever come across and adds a new dimension to family road trips.

*** Update: Baby First TV was moved to a satellite transceiver that the dish does not receive. However, other channels for children, such as Sprout, are still available. ***- First impression was that this is a quality product - everything from the packaging to the cables and installation equipment (not to the mention the dish)to the personally signed package inventory sheets was impressive- Requires just 50W of power which is supported easily by my 120W accessory power outlets- Installation of dish on 2007 Pilot went smoothly w/ roof rack mounting option, although the locktite(?) compound (or whatever it was) made torquing the hex bolts more difficult than it should have been; this dish isn't going anywhere so the locktite seemed like overkill- Recommend purchasing a 12V car accessory adapter (check Radio Shack for a good selection; ensure the one you buy has at least a 5A fuse, 10A better) and soldering iron w/ solder (if you don't have these already) for the power cables if using your vehicle's accessory outlet- Could not make the cable fit through the hatchback and didn't want to drill a hole in the roof, but i was able to route the cable through the rear passenger door w/o kinking the cable (so far); water leakage is a concern now- If you travel a lot w/ small children, this DirecTV system w/ Baby First TV is worth it in my humble opinion; plus, you can move the system to your next vehicle
