2Not Worth The Money
By PK
I'm a ski patroller in the northeast. I've been using these gloves for 3 seasons now. After the first season, the left glove developed a small round hole in one of the fingers. I contacted Hestra, and they asked for pictures. I sent them pictures, then they wanted the gloves. When I sent the gloves back, they wouldn't repair or replace the gloves. Hestra said that they only warranty their gloves for skiing. Sorry Hestra, but I don't use my over-priced ski gloves as work gloves. They did keep the gloves for almost one year! I finally got the gloves back (after several emails), and patched the hole. Two of my fellow patrollers also use this glove. One patroller had a tear in the leather palm of his glove at the end of the first season. That buttery soft goat leather is not very thick! All of us agree that these gloves pack-out quickly, leaving your hands cold anytime it's below 30 degrees. At least this leaves room for the required liners. Also note that there is no nose wipe, or heater pocket on these gloves. On the plus side, the dexterity is very good. The gauntlets are a good size, with a good cinch. The handcuffs while wide, do the job. I do think that there are better gloves for the money.

5BEST gloves in the world
By sphinx-ops
These are the best gloves I have ever owned!! the gortex is great and keeps moisture out. the army goat leather is soft and really nice, the gauntlet goes over my coat easy and with out any hassle the glove slips on my hand, I really like the "hand cuff" feature that keeps my expansive gloves attached to ME... over all if I could give this product more stars I would it is just that great of a glove... Don't forget the HESTRA leather glove balm made just for their leather... I put a little on every other trip and in the wet northwest snow I am dry and very toasty

5Hestra Xcr Gor-Tex Lined ski gloves
By Steve
My wife bought these to ski in and thinks they are fantastic, great value and very comfortable. She's always cold-handed on snow, but the Hestra will easily accommodate her rather large collection of liners...The gloves are Gor-Tex lined plus the gauntlets make them reasonably water resistant and come with various options to attach the gloves to your jacket. Conclusion: great value gloves and highly recommended. Think of it like this, the Swedes should understand the design essentials of cold climate apparel.
