I have used this massager at a friend's house for years. They use it almost every day. I loved it and finally purchased one for myself.I am completely familiar with the machine. It may look a bit scarey, but it makes your feet feel so good. The remote control is nice. You don't need to move around and mess with the actual machine to change the settings.I use the bar to tilt the machine up so I can sit in a oomfy chair. I place my feet in and turn just the vibration on. I feel that up to my knees at first. I then add the kneading part. I move my feet around to get them in the exact place that feels the best. After a bit, I start to move my feet around a lot. I get my heels, the top of my feet and any other way that feels great.My best suggestion for a great massage, is during the kneading part move your feet around to what feels best to you. I never just plant my feet and stay still.While you can find it new, I did purchase a refurbished model. It was less than 1/2 the cost of a new one and so far so good. I am soooooo glad I picked it up.I am giving it 5 stars, because I have used this for many years, and it has always made my feet feel better.
