I had read that Ceylon cinnamon was the tastiest kind. As it turns out, Ceylon cinnamon (which actually meant cinnamon from Sri Lanka) is much more mild and delicate. It is very soft and can be crumbled with your fingers.Personally, I like the strong taste of ordinary cinnamon. I also disapprove of the description of this item, which tells absolutely nothing about it.So I will tell what I know, having received a package. The product seems fresh enough. The flavor is mild, nearly undetectable in the Chai I like to use it for. The packaging is a heavy plastic bag that reseals easily and can become smaller as the cinnamon is used up, to avoid allowing in too much oxygen, which I imagine would render this already mild tasting spice even less tasty.One benefit is that unlike ordinary cinnamon which is too hard, this can be ground in a coffee grinder.

High quality, wonderful aroma. These are fresh and fragrant with a wonderful sweet flavor. I use them in my teas and have even ground them for using in other foods. Excellent
