It's nice! Pretty & striking. I was afraid that the diamond & hearts would be too much glitter/flash for her, but it's perfect. Very tasteful and understated. I have two gripes:1) The necklace became tangled during shipping. I have never untangled a necklace like this before, and I hope that I never have to do it again. I'm a computer programmer by trade, and this was literally the most tedious thing that I've done in years. It took an hour and a half of random, gentle, tedious tugging and stringing. And I had just trimmed my fingernails, which made this task even more difficult.2) The ring holding the pendant to the necklace isn't soldered on to the pendant - it's loose. As the necklace jiggles the diamond parts gets wedged into the ring which puts stress on the diamonds (which will eventually cause them to fall off), it can scratch the necklace, and worst, causes the pendant to hang at funny angles. So I took the piece to a jeweler and asked them to solder the oval to the hearts. Now I'm no longer concerned about friction/pressure knocking the diamonds loose, and it always hangs perfectly. It cost about $40.Once it's untangled and I fixed #2, it's a pretty nice piece. Perfect size, perfect fit on her, the diamonds are beautiful, and the gold is very smooth and pleasing to the eyes.
