I searched for weeks, reading reviews on different shower faucet kits for my stand up shower. Finally I gave up because all the reveiws were not to the quality I was looking for, for the price. Luckily I also have a roman tub in my bathroom and came across this faucet at an awesome price!! At $150.00 I was a bit skeptical for one main reason... that I could not find any reviews or even videos on youtube (and you can find just about any kind of installation video on youtube!!). I had never heard of the brand name either... So, I bit the bullet and ordered it. Now... I am a 30+ year old female who is a do-it-yourselfer and when I got this faucet in, I about flipped. It is not your ordinary set-up!! There is a special "cold" water valve that "mixes" the hot and cold water automatically to a preset temperature. If your hot water temp fluctuates, well then you're just SOL... but for the most part it will keep your temp very near where you set it.Just to give you an example of the technicality and space this faucet takes up... a normal faucet system has two hoses comeing in (hot & cold) and possibly two short hoses going into your faucet. This one had two hoses (hot and cold) going to your "cold" water valve system. One hose coming out of this... to go to your hot water valve. One hose coming out of your hot water valve... to go into the faucet AND one hose going out of your fauct... going into the hand held shower head.In my plumbing access space, I was catching cramps bending in all kinds of ways to get all of this connected without having leaks... Boy it was not fun, but well worth it!!!This faucet is the quietest I have ever heard (or barely hear). Water pressure has doubled even though it is quieter and the hand held shower head is fabulous!!! It is like having a messaging shower head, the water pressure is so great!! When the shower head is on, of course it is louder than the faucet itself, but if I plan to leave the room for a minute (and want to remember I left the water running) this is a lifesaver!! Otherwise, I am likely to flood my bathroom because I can't hear the bath running anymore.So I give it a definite five stars and it was well worth my acrobatics to get this sucker installed.Be ready to drill new holes (one being oval) and have some extra hands while installing, just to make it easier for you!!Oh yea, almost forgot... It looks great as well!!! Very heavy & well made (maybe a plastic piece or two... Can't really remember and don't really care) I LOVE IT!!
