The Gettysburg blanket is a wool (80% (reprocessed)) nylon (20%) felt about 1/8" thick. It measures 60"x84" according to the Woolrich website. Mine is 63"x83". It seems like it will do well to keep me warm on fall evenings as I read in my chair. It seems like a well made good quality blanket. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I did expect it to be "authentic" which to me meant 100% wool.

for the price the quality can't be beat. looks good and is very warmI would recommend this to anyone wanting a bed blanket or just a throw for those cold winter nights in front of the tV
