OFFI Home MEGDAS-W Dachshund Accent Lamp glows a cool Soft White color and will bathe your room in a welcoming glow. Dachshund is made of non-toxic, odorless plastic. Whether used as the perfect night light or a warm accent fixture, the happy little Dachshund will give you a warm feeling as a constant companion that will be appreciated for a lifetime. MEGDAS-W is supplied with a cord and adapter UL approved for indoor use in US households (110-Volt, 50-60Hz power). MEGDAS-W comes one per package, and includes a 10-watt 12-Volt G4 base halogen bulb. I have this lamp on the floor in my baby's room - it's the perfect amount of light so that I can see what I'm doing at 3am diaper changes, yet not so bright I can't leave it on all night.It's been on every night, all night, for the past 3 months. I've had no problems with it.UPDATE: The light eventually shorted out (under a year of having it) and I haven' been able to find a replacement. Now it's just a non-working decoration in my nursery. I have revised my rating accordingly.

I bought this to use as a night light in my infant's room. It gives off just the right amount of light at night so that you can see to change a diaper but not bright enough to keep her awake. It looks really cute too!
