By Vincent Mancini
This LuxurGuest Rollaway Guest Bed - Model 102 - Twin is a fantastic item. It is comfortable, sturdy, and folds up kind of easily only when you want. I have a small apartment and toyed with the idea of using the Aerobed. I tried the lower profile and the elevated versions. I thought that I would inflate and delflate according to my need to sleep or the need for space. It became annoying to go through this process over-and-over. Additionally, both Aerobed types and two sizes (twin and queen) eventually became mis-shapen due to my weight and over-use. From left - to - right and from top - to - bottom, I was sleeping in a potato chip-shaped bed with many peaks and valleys. This LuxurGuest Rollaway Guest Bed - Model 102 - Twin is great and is comfy. Although you have to take most of your sheeting off to fold it away easily, this is not a problem. The whole system is easy to roll around and can be rolled out, moved, and re-folded by the weakest individual that has a height above 5 feet (possibly smaller). Will easily roll into an elevator and has a slim profile. The adjustable, hospital type of incline offered is fantastic. You can easily increase the incline for reading or watching TV.I have not bought lower-cost rollaway beds to compare to this one, but I use this every day and have done so for close to a month or so and there aren't any negatives so far.For those indiviuals whose sleep on their backs, they can afford to sleep on cheaper beds. But when you sleep on your side, a bed such as this one is what is called for.I tried a cot and that allowed for 10-15 minute sleep intervals and resluted in many a bad day.

By proton32060
I work out of town and use this bed at my office.I have owned it for 6 months and sleep on it 3 nights a week. All I can say is this is the best portable bed I have ever seen. It is incredibly comfortable and very well made. It's not cheap but in this case it is worth every cent.It is very easy to fold out and fold up and is built to last for decades.Besides being well made and comfortable- the best thing is it has a headboard. If you try to sleep on a regular rollaway the pillows always fall off the front of the bed during the night. With a headboard they can't do that. That may not sound like a big deal until you find yourself waking up three or four times every night picking pillows up off the floor.Another excellent feature is the fact it has wooden slats to support the mattress instead of a metal mesh with springs. The advantage is you won't sink into the middle of the bed and it doesn't squeak when you move around.Bottom line is if you want a cheap Roll-Away there are plenty to choose from. But if you want a good night's sleep and a bed that will last for years and years buy the Luxor 102.Additional Note:The previous review was based on the first of these beds I bought.I recently ordered a second for another location. While the second bed is every bit as good as the first I learned an important lesson. The wheels for the bed do not match the quality of the bed itself. They are not very strong and can not take much weight. The wheels are not installed when the bed is shipped; the customer has to install them. The point is when you screw them in take the mattress out to minimize the weight when you tip the bed back to its upright position.I failed to do this and the wheels crushed when I tipped the bed back up after installation. This mistake forced me to find replacement wheels and they are not easy to find since they are a metric thread (M8).So the point is be careful during the installation to avoid damaging them. Once the bed is upright and the weight is distributed over four they can take the weight. But they will not withstand the weight focused on one or two of them. The bed is still the best you can buy but the manufacturer would be better off to include more durable wheels with it.

By Sr Francis Patrick
I got this after a few near disasters with our air mattress'. I had gotten frames to put the air mattress' on so we didn't have to put them on the floor when we had guests, but these proved very flimsy. When a frame broke while a guest was using it (no one hurt but it was close!) I decided we needed a safe, sturdy comfortable fold away bed. I searched Amazon and looked at the reviews, which I always check before buying any item. This bed only had only a few reviews - a couple complained about the wheels which concerned me - but they all mentioned the comfort and the head board which makes it seem like 'a real bed' and keeps the pillow from falling off! Simple - but it's true! Our first guest has used it, and was raving about the comfort - and the head board! The wheels seem just fine (there are four of them that you have to attached yourself - just need a wrench) We had to move the bed from one area to another - just folded it up, pushed it with no problems over carpet - the wheels are very functional. Most likely you wouldn't be moving the bed too far, so the wheels are adequate. There is no pressure on them when the bed is open and with the weight of someone in it. It is a true twin size bed, not a 'cot'. You can even elevate the head of the bed if desired. Folded up, the headboard adds no width to the bed - it covers the top of the folded bed and serves as a 'shelf' to put the bedding on. All in all this is a great guest bed and I highly recommend it! It is worth the price in regard to safety and comfort.
