I keep the hair of a beloved cat that passed away entirely too soon inside this pendant. I bought it for this very purpose and receive so many compliments on it. The pendant unscrews from the lid but does seem to come a tiny bit loose every once in a while. I recommend tightening it every once in a while so you do not lose the contents. The pendent comes with its own chain and a gorgeous little bag. I've coordinated it with ensembles for work as well as a night out. This pendant makes it so I can keep her with me always, close to my heart. Beautiful. Perfect.
