I was building a Home Theater PC with a slim profile case and there just weren't that many slim profile video cards available, and I like nVidia cards so this was the card to get. It's not meant for heavy gaming, but is plenty for watching movies and the like and it's way better than any integrated graphics. If you need a slim profile video card, this is the one to get. It comes with both the regular sized and slim brackets.

The greatest adavatage of this card is its size. If you have a slim case machine like HP s3100, it is one of the few choices, and definitely the best one I can tell. But don't expect too much from its performance.
