This is NOT a sterile gauze bandage. When a sterile gauze is not needed, but to wrap over a dressing that is sterile, this is the perfect solution. You don't need to fuss with opening a sterile protective package when in the midst of dressing a wound. The length is just right to wrap around a wound. I trust this brand, and have not ever been disappointed with the quality.
