We received this as a gift, and I could not be more pleased. The basket is well-made and sturdy, even though it is fairly lightweight. The handles are strong and comfortable. The dinnerware is not remarkable, but it doesn't need to be--it is functional.We live across the street from a park, where we often go on little romantic dates together. I really wanted a romantic picnic basket to make those dates just a little more special, and this is the perfect one.Also, the basket was perfectly packed by the shipper, and it arrived quickly. I recommend the basket for its charm and quality, and I recommend the seller for their service.

I was looking for a Bridal Shower Gift for two very good friends and found this picnic basket! I'd already returned one that was not made well and looked "cheap". I love this basket and its contents and would highly recommend it as a gift (or for a special treat for yourself)!!

I received this Picnic Basket as a Mother's day gift. It is absolutely adorable and romantic. The melamine plates and silverware are not very good quality but as another reviewer mentioned they are functional and some people might prefer melamine instead of plates that can break. I replaced them with pretty turquoise ceramic plates (can fit four plates easily). I also replaced the silverware (had some I liked better). There is an area in the lining with little pouches that can hold more silverware so I was able to add more to serve four. I added a small cutting board (6x6)and more napkins. There is enough room for a wine bottle (laying on its side) and I can fit two more plastic containers (brings one). It is lightweight on its own and the handles are comfortable and feel sturdy. All in all it is a very pretty basket that seems like it will last and I can't wait to take it on a picnic at the park.
