I own two older VW Golfs with the turbo-diesel engine (TDI). I found out a few months ago that a local company was manufacturing biodiesel and would bulk deliver it to my home. I thought that I would give it a try since I like the idea of supporting local businesses and local farmers instead of oil companies and foreign sheiks. Plus I like the idea of being carbon neutral.I had already owned a transfer pump rated for diesel, but after 2 weeks it failed with the biodiesel so I decided to buy this pump which is rated for biodiesel. It is a very nice pump and the hose that came with it was of much higher quality than my original one. The pump's fit and finish and the plumbing fittings that came with it were much better than my original pump.The installation was easy and so far this pump is doing exactly what I want it to do, reliably pump biodiesel.
