Prints on plain paper, comes with 16 ft. interface cable and runs on 4 batteries (AA, 6V), included. Can be placed anywhere on the Shooting Bench because it connects to the Chrony with a Cable (without needing light port alignments). I used the Chrony Master Beta for a number of years before getting this printer. I do a lot of load testing etc and I've always written down the data as I shot the groups. Very time consuming and sometimes forgot to write something down. Now I don't worry about it. This printer automatically prints the data as I shoot. However, there is definitely a learning curve, and its use is not really intuitive. Chrony suggests in the manual that you set it up at home and shoot over it with an air gun etc. I took it to the range to try it the first time, and didn't figure it out, because it took too much time. So I set it up at home and shot over it with an air rifle. That made it so much easier to learn to use it! So far it performs flawlessly. I recommend it to anyone who uses the chronograph very much.

Very nice Chrony printer. Easy to use and set up and works great. No more having to manually write down chrony numbers while doing bullet testing. Wish I had gotten one of these a long time ago.
