Nice little light. Comes with battery pre-installed - made with long shelf life so it won't leak. If you're worried about taking your $40 maglite somewhere where it might get damaged - or don't want to pack away your nicest flashlight in your 72 hour kit - this is good alternative. I like how you can test it while it's still the package to ensure it still works - just press button. Great for your own or for gifts to your family for their emergency preparedness kits. We've given several away already. Only issue is that you can't select the colors. To be fair, though - when an earthquake hits in the middle of the night, that's probably the last thing on your mind. :)
