In a world where every moron is trying to cram *more* speakers into his system rather than *better* ones, it was a relief to find a company with a good reputation that put out high quality 2.1 monitors.However, a few months after I bought these speakers, I started having problems. The sub would be filled with torrents of static. Even if nothing was feeding into them and they were only turned on by themselves. It would come out of nowhere in the middle of the night. Loud enough to wake you up. And then the sub stopped producing any sound that wasn't just pitched static.I emailed BlueSky and described my situation in the middle of the night on a weekend. Within hours, I had a reply from the founder of the company. Later in the day, I also heard from two engineers, including the guy who actually designed the product. They stated some units were experiencing this behavior and they had a filter (a little circuit board that you stick to the back of the driver, connecting the driver and the mainboard together). They said I could either fix it myself or send it to them and let them do it. Or I could try it myself and - if I failed - still send it to them and they'd do it for me.I opted to have them send me the parts. They arrived within a week. The filter circuit, an entirely new mainboard and an entirely new driver. Essentially, everything except the padding and the sub chassis. They also provided extremely comprehensive and comprehensible instructions that included photographs. Within fifteen minutes, I had removed the face cover to the unit and the driver. Disconnected the driver from the mainboard and removed the mainboard and backplate.A few minutes later and I had attached the new filter circuit to the back of the driver and put everything back together. The sound is better than ever.Customer service of this quality is rare for a product. I wish the problem hadn't occurred in the first place, but after it did they were quick to resolve it. Offered me the option of giving me parts and instructions or doing it *for* me and even kept their founder, engineer and the designer of the product itself in touch with me until I could confirm it was resolved.And, like before, when I contacted them to indicate it was resolved - it was at 9pm on a Saturday night. Within the hour, I got a reply from the co-founder again thanking me for my patience and patronage and asking if there was anything else they could help me with.I can thoroughly recommend their products both for performance and quality as well as the unsurpassed attention and care they give their customers. Many others could learn how to build brand loyalty and respect from these guys.
