This HALO toy has become one of my sons favorite toys. As all mothers with 9 year old sons know, a toy needs to be mighty durable to withstand the wear and tear a 9 year old has on it. Not only is this toy durable, but my son claims that this toy is just like the game. He said it looks the same, it moves the same, and it is "A blast!"This toy also works well with many other toys that my son has. He enjoys the HALO Mega Blocks, and once he completes a Mega Block set, he uses this toy as well to play with the blocks.

I bought this pack for about 25 shipped. I really like it. It allows an interesting aspect of gameplay beyond the basic game.It can be played straight out of the box, all you need is a pair of dice to have a complete game.The maps in this pack are alot better than those available in the boosters.The poses of the hunters are ok but not great. I think they would have been fine as a dual-base figure rather than as a large model on a single base.I was a bit disappointed that the contents don't match the product description at all but it's not that big of a deal I guess.In terms of gameplay the hunters are beasts to take down. It basically takes grenades to take em down. However, if you can manage to camp on their spawn points & then kill them you would win by default. The marines included are good because they are cheap & come w/ grenades unlike the standard booster marines. Between grenades & the sniper rifle the hunters can be defeated but it's still not easy.
