DuraPlus Chimney is the metal chimney that does the 3 things a firesafe chimney must do: stay cool on the outside, provide a hot draft on the inside, with a firesafe design that protects both the chimney and building. It is designed for appliances that are tested and listed for use with a 2100deg F HT chimney system such as wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, stoves, ranges, water heaters or appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal or gas. And well worth the cost. This item retails for over $500.00 at various online seller websites.It is as advertised. Everything you'll need for a DuraPlus through-the-wall manufactured chimney installation is included here. If purchased by the piece, your cost would be much more. Chimney sections are sold separately.DuraPlus is a triple-wall manufactured chimney product that assembles easily. Included is an adapter ring that fits the thimble section to ordinary black stovepipe or DuraBlack double-wall pipe.Our kit arrived with the chimney cap a bit squashed. No fault of the seller ~ this likely occured during shipment. You know how that goes... mark it Fragile and the Goon Squad won't throw it as hard. The cap was easily enough straightened out and you'd never tell from looking at the completed job. It's a very neat look, inside and out.The manufacturer recommends installation by a qualified contractor. It can be a DIY job; bear in mind some framing work is needed for use through combustible walls.The outside wall must be a flat surface where the assembly exits. If the building has siding, it will need to be modded. Honestly, a licenced contractor is your best bet.

I found the initial set up through the wall to be difficult for beginners, however once things get going it couldn't be more simple. i posted a youtube video. they do not allow links, so try searching by my name on youtube it is haloguy4900. i hope you can find it, i find video to be most helpful.

THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT EASY TO INSTALL TOOK UNDER A HOUR. WALL THIMBLE DOES NOT GET HOT AT ALL EVERYTHING FIT PERFECT. I HAD MY STOVE UP TO ABOUT 800' AND WAS STILL COLD TO THE TOUCH .THIS MADE MY WOOD STOVE INSTILLATION A SNAP VERY WELL MADE, (MADE IN THE USA)
