Got lucky and was able to obtain the new Leica X1, but found that the lack of an eye level viewfinder was a real problem for me. Tried to find Leica's X1 viewfinder but it seems even harder to obtain than the camera itself. Solution: this Voigtlander viewfinder. It's cost a ton of money less than the $350 Leica wants for its viewfinder and it does an excellent job. Leica finder might have better optics but who really cares about that in a viewfinder. The top lens (for focusing) of a Rollei wasn't of the same quality as the bottom lens but didn't affect the outcome. P.S. there is a silver version of the finder which I think looks better on the X1 than the black.
