I bought this as a gift for my very active son. He loves it! It lets him practice skateboard techniques and more on winter or rainy days, while indoors. It was a floor saver this winter, and a sanity saver too.

I am 63 and usually do about an hour of aerobics a day (Concept 2 Rower or a Spinning bike). I also lift weights and generally try to stay in good shape. I have a heavy bag and speed bag for boxing. One thing I had never worked on was balance. My balance has never been great. After using the BoarDRock for a month, I have improved my balance on the board and it is also shown up in my ability to do kicks on the heavy back. Especially on round kicks. I usually aim for knee level (you really have to be fast to do a round kick to the head) and I can now do repeated kicks without having to return to a two legged stance.I found the BoarDRock to be the right level of difficulty for me. Someone with good balance or who is an experienced skate boarder might want one of the other boards (the Bongo Board) but for the average person, I think this is an excellent choice.
