This fluorescent ceiling fixture is just right for our small kitchen. Turns right on and one cannot see the outline of the bulbs inside as in other cheaper products. There are two circular bulbs in this fixture. My only complaint is that the light may have been a bit more brighter. That said, if you have a big kitchen, may think of two fixtures or some other fixture that has brighter light.

Easy to put up, looks amazing, and so much more light than our similarly sized, old fixture. I really like how the light comes out all around the top edge, as well as down through the dome - both of which are a milky white plastic.
