Most people who buy this already know what they are getting. A BFK! Yes, this is a real SKA371P1, and at $189 from Dexclusive, it is by far, the best price around. The BFK (Big Freakin Kinetic!) has an excellent, deserved, reputation at the various watch forums. For under $200, you are getting a legitimate 200m dive watch with a high quality solid link (end links solid as well) stainless bracelet), excellent lume, accurate quartz/kinetic movement and in a handsome, well designed package. This is a real hunk of metal on your wrist, but it is handsome and understated. Not a gaudy show off watch. Nothing but business. You will know its on your wrist, but honestly, it is not that big compared to some watches these days.I've had an Invicta pro diver (9397) for the last several years, and the quality of this Seiko puts Invicta to shame! Nothing about this watch feels cheap. The bezel turns easily and with loud precision clicks. It is a joy to use. The crown screws in easily and tightly, the lume can't be beat at this price. Seiko lume is among the best at any price. My complaints with this watch are few. One is that the white on black date is small hard to read. I would much prefer a larger black on white date. Also, a sapphire crystal would be nice, but that is a feature rarely found in watches under $200. My only real complaint is that the safety clasp pops open quite easily when pressure is put on the back of the divers extension. This happens when you flex your wrist, or push hard against something. To me, it is a flawed design and can be annoying at times. I'm surprised I haven't read of more people complaining about this. Overall, it is not enough of a flaw to ruin the experience for me.

By MN Swede
This watch just exudes quality, and looks far more expensive than other Seiko watches that I've owned. No hollow bracelet links or flimsy clasps here! The fit and finish are just exquisite. The case, bracelet links and clasp are thick and solid, with a nice satin finish. The bracelet is attached to the case with screws, not a thin spring bar like most watches use, so no chance of it accidentally coming apart and falling to the bottom of the ocean. The bezel rotates like a precision instrument, with 120 clicks per rotation. The lume is bright and long-lasting. The second hand lands exactly on the center of the dial marks, not off-center like on many watches. So far, it is keeping excellent time. I set it using an Atomic Clock a week ago, and it hasn't gained or lost a single second yet.Be forewarned - this is a heavy watch! I weighed it on my postage scale, and it was just a tick under half a pound! I guess that's the price you pay when it's made from thick, solid stainless steel. This is a diver's watch, made for depths of 200 meters/650 feet, so don't buy it, then give a weak review when you find it weights more than a dress watch. You don't need to be a diver to buy this watch. It's perfect for anyone who wants a rugged watch to wear in the shower, pool, hot tub, etc. and not have to worry about it leaking water.I thought I'd mention a few things that are not covered in the description: The bracelet has a quick-release extension that adds an additional 3/4 inches length to fit over wet suits. When not it use, it discretely folds under the clasp. The button on the case at the 2 o'clock position is used to tell you the kinetic power reserve. Press it, and the second hand quickly advances from five to thirty seconds ahead - the greater the advance, the more the power reserve. The description says the case diameter is 47mm, but that includes the crown. The bezel diameter is 42mm, and the dial diameter is 29mm.A few notes on the seller, Dexclusive: They have this listed with an incomplete product number. This watch is a SKA371-P1. If they had the complete, correct number, their sales might be better. Their price is fantastic! I paid $189 with free shipping. This same watch is at least $25 to $100 more on other Amazon and ebay stores. It is shipped by Amazon, but came with a neon green Dexclusive "wristband" looped through the bracelet with the warning, "Not returnable if strap is tampered or removed", so no trying it out for a few days and then returning. Guess that's how they keep the price so low.

By Russell Smith
I spent many weeks narrowing down the choice of a diver watch. First, I decided on a price range..........under $200. Secondly, brand............Seiko, after looking at Citizen, Orient, Invicta. Finally, I went back and forth bewteen automatic and quartz movement. Quartz accuracy and reliability won, I am not a collector so traditional mechanical movements had no special appeal. The fact that they are far less accurate than a quartz and require periodic professional maintenance helped with the choice. I hesitated on a kinetic movement until I did a thorough research. I also did an extensive online price search and when I found this model for $189 including shipping and no tax, that sealed the deal. I knew I'd have to resize the oyster band and read how "difficult" it was since this watch uses the "dreaded" pin and collar method. I purchased a $15 set of watch tools and the resizing proved to be a piece of cake! The watch arrive with very little charge left in the Li-ion battery. It now has a full charge after much wearing and gentle shaking. It keeps excellent time and has not lost or gained 1 second in the past 2 weeks. Though not a huge watch, as some reviews mentioned, it is still a hefty piece which is quite noticable when wearing. If you are looking for a lightweight, slim timepiece.........this is not for you. It is exactly what I was looking for and the quality is easily apparent.
