Great toilet seat solution

This toilet seat spacer does exactly what it claims to do. I have one high rise toilet(17") in my house, and the second toilet is standard height(14"). Instead of incurring the cost and mess of ripping out the lower toilet, I purchased this product to increase the elevation of the toilet seat. It was easy to install; and the best part is, if I move, I can take the seat spacer with me. Great solution for aging knees.

Bemis 4LR Toilet Seat Riser is better than a new HC toilet

This seat riser is well designed and easy to install. The bolts are included. There are NO side arms on the seat. Thiswas an error in the ad. You use your own toilet seat therefore the appearance is almost un-noticed. The lid,seat, andriser can be raised or lowered separately or together which makes it very easy to use and clean.Amazon had a super promotion in Dec...a 77% discount or $92.06 price...with free shipping!With age, my wife and I needed a higher toilet. Leica M8/M9 OEM battery charger

I bought this charger for my M9 since i misplaced my first one. This is labeled in most websites as an M8 battery charger and indeed this is the same charger that came with my M8. However, the battery of the M8 and M9 is the same. My M8 was sold so i no longer have a charger for the M9. So when i was looking for a charger for the M9, i found this one which is labeled for the M8 and another model which comes with the powercable for the M9. I wanted the plug on the wall type like this one so i decided to get this item. Though its like a brick...i wish this was smaller, I like this one better coz i dont want to have a dangling power cord on chargers.

The new LEICA APO-SUMMICRON-M 75mm f/2.0 ASPH is designed to be universal in its usage, as good at infinity as in the close range and at all apertures but its very natural rendering of details (very low distortion and vignetting) as well as its performance at open aperture and at close range make it particularly suitable for lively available light portraits or to isolate part of the picture when doing a reportage. The very natural looking perspective of this focal length make beautiful portraits possible with a three-dimensional feel to them. Decisive image elements can be emphasized without the image losing its expression of true reality. The optical performance is excellent at wide-open aperture. As the MTF curves show the contrast reproduction only slightly increases by stopping down. The closest focus distance is 0.7 m (27 in.) against 1m for the 90mm general-purpose lenses. A new velvety matt finish makes the Leica APO-SUMMICRON-M 75mm f/2.0 ASPH immune to flare. Distortion is not a concern and barely visible in real life. One of Leica's Most Popular -Though Quite Expensive - New Lenses for M-mount Rangefinder Cameras

Ever since this lens's introduction over a year ago, it has proven to be a popular new addition to the Leica M rangefinder camera system. A friend who works at one of the premier USA Leica dealerships has told me that it's been difficult for him to keep up with the strong demand for this fine medium telephoto lens. Indeed, the reports I have read about this new 75mm lens have been absolutely sensational, starting with a glowing review from no less an authority than Erwin Puts himself (www.imx.nl)!The 75mm f2 APO-Summmicron-M ASPH lens is surprisingly compact, if not that light, and may be a useful counterpart to those Leica M users who prefer working with a 35mm f2 Summicron and need something lighter than the 75mm f1.4 lens - still in production and a fine lens in its own right too (But it is rumored to be discontinued if it isn't already.) - for a moderate telephoto lens. The 75mm lens - invented by Leica for introduction with its Leica M4-P rangefinder camera - offers a telephoto perspective that is only slightly more than the normal perspective of a 50mm lens, making it an attractive alternative as a portrait lens to slightly longer lenses such as the 90mm f2 Apo-Summicron-M lens and the yet to be released Carl Zeiss ZM 85mm f2 Sonnar lens.Those Leica users who use primarily a 35mm lens may find this a valued second lens to add to their kit. Optically, this lens owes much to the design of the new 50mm f1.4 Summilux-M ASPH, featuring not only anomalous partial dispersion glass and an aspherical element, but also containing a floating element to ensure excellent optical performance wide open at close focusing distances. Wow!

Bought this lens after reading a few reviews about its impeccable optics and lack of distortion for a 28mm lens. My opinion after seeing this lens perform: the reviews were absolutely right! This is a magnificent lens, and about as wide as you can get without having to invest on an external viewfinder for the wider Leica lenses. With the lens hood you will definitely cover some of your viewfinder screen (lower right-hand corder of your view area), but while this may sound like a bad thing, it really is not much of big deal. There's plenty of viewer real estate left for you to compose your photograph perfectly. The lens focusing ring on this solid lens is beyond excellent. Very smooth and fast. But what will undoubtedly sell you on this Leica wonder is the overall sharpness of this lens. Not even my Nikon f/2.8 professional lenses can come close to what I get with this diminutive gem. This also applies to the nagging lens distortion we all get from most of our wide angle lenses. Not that this lens is distortion free, but rather that the distortion is so minimized by Leica that you will sometimes get confused on whether you took the photo with a 35mm or a 50mm. It's that good, and frankly, experiencing this level of quality has led me to start selling my Nikon f-mount lenses so I can get some more Leica glass.

Terrific IQ

The image quality of this lens is second to none! Whether you use this lens wide open or stopped down, you will not be sorry. Wide open it's a little hard to focus on the M9 because the image in the rangefinder of the M9 is very bright. However, since one is not actually looking through the lens, I can't attribute this to the lens but instead the M9. And, when mounted on the M9, and properly identified by the M9 as the 28f2, compensation is made by the camera for any distortion expected for a 28mm lens. In other words, the barrel affect is mostly removed from the final photo. I did notice a little purple fringe in areas of high contrast between bright blue sky and dark tree branches. This was not too bad and was removed in Photoshop processing. I have not been able to find ANY digital camera to completely be free of this feature. However, the M9 and this lens come close.

I had a ring that was had more metal in the ring and the stones were futher apart but it only silver tone and the metal came out. I really loved that ring, so went looking for one with no luck until I came across this at amazon.com. I was very impressed with the size of the stones and it is sterling silver which made it very affordable. I love this ring and would purchase another on in a heart beat if need anohter. I would highly recommend this ring!!

USA made, safe, and warm

Having tired of climbing into a cold bed during the winter and having to crank up the expensive to run furnace, I was interested in a quality heated mattress pad.Suffice it to say, Electrowarmth delivers a fine quality USA made safe product that works exactly as advertised. It warms to set temp in about 10 minutes or so and keeps it constant all night. The fully electronic control means no annoying clicks and it is softly lit when you press the temperature buttons. The light glows for about 10 or so seconds then goes off.The unit will run 10 hours once you turn it on. If you turn off but leave it plugged in, it will remember your last setting from L to H with 1-9 in between.The cords are amply long to reach from bottom of bed to unit and still reach an outlet close by. It is machine washable and UL listed.I recommend this product, USA made highly.

Once a person goes with heated mattress pad, I don't see how one could go with out. This one is better then my previous one. It heats up much faster. The plugin is on the left side so your feet will not hit it.It is also MADE IN AMERICA !

First thing I did with this product was to test it against the real thing following directions exactly, I tested a ring known to be 14K gold ,then another and another etc. to be amazed at the accuracey of this machine and it was right every time.

The optical structure of the LEICA SUMMILUX-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH. consists of eight lenses in 5 groups. Glass with anomalous partial dispersion (elements 2/3) was used to ensure correct color rendition. Lens element 2 is made of a fluorite-type glass while lens element 3 is made from glass originating from the former Leitz glass laboratory. Lens element 4 has an aspherical surface. Lens elements 1, 6 and 7 are made of glass with a very high refractive index to minimize monochromatic aberrations. In all every innovation currently available in lens technology - aspherical lenses, glass with anomalous partial dispersion (APO), glass with a high refraction index and a floating element - has been combined to create a lens that will set new imaging standards. This is the first Leica M lens with a specifically patented 'floating element' used to maintain imaging performance at a very high level even in close-focus ranges down to 0.7m. During focusing, the rear most optical component (elements 7/8) moves relative to the rest of the optical system and produces brilliant image quality in near focus ranges. Amazing...you get what you pay for!

Probably the shortest review I've ever written simply because the lens is incredible and you have to feel it in hand and use it to realize the difference and also because the time I spend on the review I would rather put into playing with the lens!So, this is a Leica and you realize that the minute you hold the lens. The build quality is second to none! I opted for the silver since the vast knowledge of Leica info online affords one the experience of many and from what I have discerned the silver lens is brass, the black aluminum. Brass is a much more substantial metal and weathers use well while from my own experience in dealing with aluminum for various projects I have come to the conclusion that aluminum is not as robust or forgiving as brass. As for the color difference and use in street photography, I don't see anyone really noticing a difference considering the size of the lens and any camera it will fit onto.The IQ is impressive. So much better than any Canon or Nikon I have used in the past and the manual focus is smooth and responsive; a pleasure to use and only enhanced by the added focusing tab. Barely noticeable is a slight softness in the edges that you have to really zoom in to notice and essentially sharp at f1.4 which is the reason why one purchases a $4k lens in the first place.So in keeping this short...if you can afford the lens I suggest you buy it. Rumor and history has it that the prices go up nearly each year. The new M is on its way and lens supply is sure to dry up. Best to make the purchase now and have the lens rather than be on the waiting lists that will surely be popping up in the next few weeks.

Best camera lens ever made

Still use my Summilux which my Dad bought while in Germany in 1960 along with the Leica M3. 53 years and still going strong.

My cats are very happy!

This product is simply wonderful. We have six cats and they all love it. The top of the tower is the coveted spot and it is fun to see them jockey for that position. It is such a treat to have something they can dig their claws into without being scolded or squirted! The product is well made and heavy, so we don't have to worry about it toppling over when the kitties get really rambunctious (which is often). Our cats range in size from normal (10 pounds) to really big (19 pounds) and the size of the perches accommodates them all pretty well. A single perch will even accommodate two of the smaller kitties if one of them refuses to yield the high ground. It was delivered quickly and in good condition, and the friendly delivery person was a great help in opening the box and manuevering it into place. The product is worth the price, and I expect that our cats will be happy with it for many years to come.
