Product Description
The 3I-1813-5B-L Pistol / Optics Case is injection molded from ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, material specified by the U.S. military for cases and containers. It features a gasketed, water and dust-tight submersible design, meeting military standard MIL-C-4150J. The automatic ambient pressure equalization valve self-regulates for different altitudes meeting military standards MIL-STD-648C and IP67. It is resistent to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus and impact damage, surpassing military standard MIL-STD-810F. The case features a continous molded-in hinge with stainless stell pin, a patent pending "trigger release" latch system, and a comfortable, snap-down, rubber over-molded handle. The 3I-1813-5B-L is comfortable and durable in transport and secure and stable in storage thanks to SKB's interlocking case design. With two padlockable eyelets, the 3I-1813-5B-L is completely secure. Capable of accommodating 3-6 handguns with its layered convoluted foam interior, the 3I-1813-5B-L is backed by SKB's Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

Fantastic for your favorite hand gun!

I wasn't sure how this case would fit my needs for my full size sig sauer p226 mk 25 but with the removable foam blocks I was able to fit 5 magazines and one in the gun making 6 total. It worked beautifully and I will be buyin more of these cases. This case is clearly thicker than the one most handguns come with, but if you really want to protect your favorite sidearm then you have to order one of these cases. I have one for my go pro as well SKB cases are solid!

I am extremely happy with this case. I use it to store 3 handguns, 8 magazines and have the owners manuals for all 3 firearms stored in the case as well. I realize this does not take the place of a steel safe, however for making sure no one in the household can get in to the case (I installed the locking latches from SKB as well).
