Jacuzzi S750000 RapidHeat In-Line Heater For WhirlpoolsThis product makes it possible to take a long Jacuzzi bath. It doesn't heat the water before it comes in but keeps it warm when the jets are on. It turns off when the jets are off. It also has an overheat mechanism that makes it shut off automatically to prevent it from burning out, but it turns back on when it cools off. It is not very large (I was surprised).Make sure you get the right one for your tub. We contacted Jacuzzi directly to make sure. They make several kinds (intake and out and for older and newer designs of tubs). This one is an older model. We bought our tub in 2003. It might work with newer Jacuzzi tubs or other whirlpool tubs, but I'm not sure. Check with your manufacturer first.

We have an old (pre-2000) Jacuzzi that did not come with a heater. We were able to get at the plumbing and install this heater.I'm not going to tell you the entire installation process was easy since the original Jacuzzi was installed over an unheated crawl space without any access panel and as far away from the electrical panel as possible in a house with no spare circuit spaces. However, that is certainly not the fault of this heater. The heater itself installed without any problems, and there were no leaks.NOTE: Be sure to use the special pipe cement they recommend. Standard plastic pipe cement is too brittle to work. Also, be careful when installing the required grounding bonding jumper. You not only need to tighten the wire into the lug, but you also need to be sure the lug itself is bolted tightly to the unit.

I have this heater for a year now and I think it's great. My jacuzzi didn't come with a heater when I bought it, so I started some research, read both pros and cons about this heater. I decieded to try it and I've been happy with it, this is one think you should be aware of and that is this heater does not heat the water it only keep it as hot as the water you put in it, and it only does that for about 40 mineuts, but who is going to be in a tub that long....
